It all began with a view

—a moment so striking it needed to be held onto. A view you wish you could bring home, not just the image, but the whole feeling. Moments like those are what spark my work. I set out to translate places that calm, ground, and inspire me into something meaningful and lasting.

I began painting to make sense of those moments - close my eyes, try to remember vividly - then let the paint naturally build from thought. Each piece is an interpretation rather than a replica—rooted in memory, shaped by emotion, and grounded on canvas.

This work is my way of preserving what moves me: landscapes not as they appear, but as they are felt.
